With the demand for MIMO, 2CA, 3CA, 4CA and 5G, as well as low-frequency 600 MHz in smartphones, the number of antennas will continue to increase. If all the above functions are available, 4-7 antennas will need to be increased from 4G to 5G (sub-6G). This will bring several problems:

1. Limited grounding area by which the supporting circuits will occupy space, including antenna clearance

2. Inefficient grounding materials by which the isolation, packet correlation, mutual interference/co-existence, and noise properties brought about by the increase in the number of antennas are also more complex, the number of grounding feed points is also increasing

3. New requirement by which the development of OLED, higher screen-to-body ratio and ultra-high-definition cameras also puts higher demands on grounding solutionss
